We have been incredibly fortunate in our lives to never have to experience the difficulties we see in the world every day. We can’t imagine what it’s like to go hungry and we think it’s a shame that in a continent so resource wealthy as Africa, anyone should. With that driving force in our hearts, we have set out to make a difference.
Our first visit to Tanzania was in 2005 and while there we felt God calling us for a long term mission. Two years later we sold most of our possessions and moved to Arusha as full time missionaries. We have called Tanzania home since February 2007.
Our work in Tanzania is multifaceted. Our main focus is agriculture and Josh is the only qualified accredited Farming God's Way trainer for Tanzania.
We have a simple, but robust mission: To give hope to those in remote place. We do that by training and equipping local farmers to end hunger through restoring their land, improving their crop yields, and developing a closer relationship with the One who created all and restores our hope. We're making a difference!
We have many partners throughout Tanzania and beyond. Many we educate and empower. Others support us through their prayers and financial donations to help us expand our outreach. Without those we work with, Farm Hope Thrive would have no purpose. Without those who pray and support us, Farm Hope Thrive would be stagnant. We can not accomplish what God has placed before us without our partners.
We would love to hear from you as you join us with the work which God has called us. Contact us today to learn how you can make a difference.
